Understanding the mind and emotions through body language

As professionals who often communicate with others, of course you want to know how to read body language. Knowledge of body language is very useful for presentations, negotiations, or even influence others.
In this article I want to explain a few tips to read body language of others, especially the speaker. The goal is that we can understand whether they are interested or just bored when we communicate with him:
Eye
People say the eyes are the windows to the soul. Eyes can provide many meanings depending on the situation. Starry-eyed for example, show an interest. Eyes staring down could mean avoiding the conversation. Laterally below the left eye view can show a sense of shame or guilt. Menantap right eye could mean the person is thinking of something in the future. But once again the eyes have a lot of sense and is very easy for one to interpret. Therefore, practice makes perfect.
Palm
The open palm of showing the person is relaxed and calm. Closed or clenched palms can mean the person is nervous. If his fist tight, there is the possibility the man was angry.
Arm
Two arms are easily observed expression is the open arms or enclosed arms (folded). Open arms show honesty and acceptance of it on what we are talking about. Conversely, arms folded, it can mean people are still hesitant with our opinions that tend to shut down.
Chin
In general, the hand that touched his chin could mean the person is thinking or trying to solve the problem.
Hand
The hand scratching his neck or head can mean the person is thinking or trying to find the right words to describe. If this hand movement continues in a conversation, we can guess the person is nervous and difficult to express his feelings.
Foot
When looking at the person speaking while standing, we can see if their feet are shoulder width apart means that people were confident and relaxed. But if his legs wide open over his shoulder, that person tends to show itself in power.
Conversely, if the position of his legs cramped or even crushing one another, people were rather shy and tends to protect itself.
There are a lot of body language we can observe. This capability can greatly help us to take a proper attitude when talking with others both one-on-one or in a presentation.
